  Just curious, maybe this is just an urban myth

  does extremely tight curly hair mean african american ancestry? or is it only in conjuction with other features like wide nose, full lips, brown eyes etc?

    Maybe and maybe not. There are many examples of part black individuals who lack most of the facial features you mentioned. I've included an example:
