I have been reading messages on this forum for some days, and now I want to introduce myself: my name is Simone and I'm Italian, and (if my parents will let me) I'm going to start letting my hair grow long. Since I look some years younger than my age, I think that I would have a very good look with the hairstyle that David Gallagher had in "It Was Him or Us". I'm sorry if the question sounds stupid or weird, but since I have read that we can also talk about beard, here it is. Even if my face gives me a boyish look, the beard already grows on it. The problem is: if I shave, my skin becomes irritated because it is sensitive (and an after shave makes the situation worse); if I don't shave, I feel a very annoying sensation on my face and I look like a jerk. So I'm asking you (please don't laugh!) if I can use depilatory soaps or creams against the growth of the beard, so that I can keep my good look without irritating my skin.
I trust that my question will receive a serious answer.
Thanks.
you would be better served to direct your question to a qualified dermatologist. you may want to consider the possibility that in the future- maybe 10 or 15 years from now, you may just wish to grow a beard.
>The rule "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Depilatory products will literally rip the crap out of your face!! Especially if your skin is sensitive- I am sure you can get proper products that will protect and help prevent irritation of your face. I agree a derm should be able to help.
