Well I just recently have been putting my hair up for work and at first didnt like it but now im getting hooked to the whole idea of it. I mean its really great. Its out of my face, no longer is it tickling my back, and i think it looks good for all things too. Only problem with it up now is that i cant really show off my true hair length.
ME
I second that.

Actually, you still show your full length, but only from one angle.
Very nice and I'll bet it feels great, too!
I do - I originally started growing my hair so that I could wear it in a tail. I find it comfortable and practical, and although I know some on this board think that ponytails indicate that the wearer is ashamed of his hair, I think the opposite is true - for me, wearing a ponytail is emphasising that I am proud enough of my hair to do something with it.
During this hot summer...a ponytail is the only way to go. I also wear a ponytail in public to placate those who don't like longhair on older guys, like myself.
Count me in! I leave it down to dry. As soon as it's dry it's ponied and sprayed to manage any fly-aways.
It's been hot and having my hair down adds to the heat exponentially. I've even been sleeping in a pony.
