I know this is a men's board, but I was just thinking; remember back when Jennifer Aniston had that godawful "Rachel shag" back in '95? It just occurred to me that that style looks an awful lot like the "awkward phase" of growing out; shorish in front, longish w/ varying lengths in the back, and there's hardly any styling that can be done with it. In fact, I've seen those episodes of Friends that have been rerun lately and every time she would try to put her shag in a ponytail, the front would come popping out! It made me laugh, because that's wat I went through when growing mine out. Anyway, I just thought it was strange that a woman, who was perfectly longhaired before, purposely gave herself a hairstyle that men (growing their hair) dread having to wait through. Thank god she finally got a clue and grew it all back (though it's too light now, I think)!
I know just what you mean. After a year my hair finally looks good and it's all one length(shoulder length)I hated when there were so many layers and it flew every which way but now i can leave it down or pull it back with no problems. Thank God and no more layers for this guy for a long time.
luckily for women they can just mess their hair up any which way they like and they get more sexy looking
at least men age better! :)
