Hey, I wanto know how do people get those bowl shaped hair styles? Im asking this so I will prevent my hair from getting it...because in my opinion I think bowl shaped hair is god awful, lol.

They "get it" because they have a haircut. Simple as that. Your hair will NEVER look like that when you avoid haircuts. Really, it is so E-Z!
Whenever I hear bowl cut I always think of Jim Carrey when he was in "Dumb and Dumber". Don't ask me why.
