Well I know I haven't posted much lately but I've been busy. I figured I'd give you guys an update. I didn't have any progress pictures last month because my mom went out of the state and took the digital camera, but I'll have some on the 19th of this month.
I've been using Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner (seperate, not the 2-in-1) for about a month now. Let me just say....wow. I thought 3-minute-miracle was amazing. I can't even describe how good this stuff is. I've also worked out a routine. I shampoo and condition with the Moist products every day, and on either Saturday or Sunday I shampoo with Moist, deep condition with 3-minute-miracle for about 5 minutes, then rinse and then condition with Moist.
I also went to GNC the other day and bought myself some Biotin. The lady said that the maximum you can take per day is 2500 mg. So of course I got the Biotin 2500. 120 pills for $25 (4 month supply). Not too bad. I can't really tell you if it's helping or not because I've only been taking it for about 5 days, but I'll keep you posted.
Otherwise I guess the only other thing to mention is my latest length. My bangs are about 1/4 inch above my upper lip (wow!!) and if I pull the back straight down it touches the vertebrae(sp?) right under the big bumpy one that everyone has where your shoulders meet your neck. Just in the last few weeks my hair has really begun to feel long. I don't have to have a comb to fix it anymore, just some water, and I'm estimating about 1-2 months before I can tuck the bangs behind my ears without them falling out.
Well I'll stop boring you guys now. Good luck all!
Thanks for the report. Aussie MOIST (shampoo & conditioner) are great.
You routine sounds like a good one to me as I do about the same...
except for the special weekend treatments.
Maybe you hair IS growing faster in the summer?!
Mine seems to do that.
When you can finally tuck your hair behind your ears...
it WILL be a wonderful feeling & milestone!
Good Luck!
Steve-o,
Did you get your senior pictures taken yet? If so, how did they turn out?
I have to agree with you, LucksKind, L'Oreal Melting Gel is awesome stuff. I knew I was forgetting to mention something. I bought a tube of the stuff about a week ago and I knew as soon as I poured some onto my finger how good it was going to be. I'm definitely not buying any other kinds of gels for a very long time.
Redleader - no, I haven't gotten them taken yet, though I should have. They may have retakes but I'm unsure as to when those are.
