Ive been growing my hair about 3 years now and recently Ive been going very very bald on either side at the front of my head. Its creeping further and further back although I think its not so bad at the moment since i stopped wearing my hair band so tight. Not had my hair cut in the whole 3 years.
Well, sounds like it may be male-pattern baldness, RW.
It's not the end of the world, many guys wear some temple thinning well. You should look into propecia right now if you're starting to notice some thinning at your crown though, as the sooner you start taking it, the better.
You could also try this:
Instead of combing your hair straight back,
part you hair and comb DOWN toward the sides.
This can take care of the receding hair line shape.
Good Luck!
I will have to do this as that will be only way to hide the race strips. :)
why hide what nature gave you..?
show it off..
I will let people willing to show off the beginnings of male pattern baldness hang out on an happy happy joy joy island along with the mullet loving people.
I know it is going to come my way but I am growing my hair to see how I look one last time with the long stuff. You can bet though that I won't resist come the day it finally decides to let mother nature have it's way. I won't go with a mullet, I won't do a long hair combover. I won't have a skullet like devin townsend of the metal band strapping young lad. Long hair on the back of my head isn't that important. I love long hair, don't get me wrong but I won't cry and get all religious about it when I have to become kojak in my older days.
Now-a-days, baldness is commonly preventable (if not sometimes even reversable) with meds like propecia and topical creams like rogaine. I undestand if you *want* to go for the Kojak look, however. ;)
Alas..........most probably genetic and is the beginning of baldness. (But that can take many many years to really do a number on you.) Anyway, if it were myself I would be having a fit and be in to see a doctor right away...........this to know exactly where I stand.) So strange, people spend Millions and Millions to have hair removed and it has actually been solved with enough treatments. Wish they (whoever "they are") would work on the other side of the coin. Perhaps not enough $$$$$ in it? Who knows.
