I see nothing wrong with little boys wearing longhair, Pony Tails, Pig tails or braids.
I have a 4 year old son and I have styled his hair in all these fashions, I especially like the pig tail look with bows and ribpons.
Casey
Good for you, Casey! If older guys can do it, why not young boys! Your son must look cute in his pig tails with bows and ribbons. Hope he appreciates your work as he gets older, and stays with the longer look. In earlier times, young boys wore long hair styled like their sisters, and wore dresses until well into this century -- especially sons of wealthy families.
Oh, please, guys. Do you think anyone believes your sick fantasies?
No, these are realities. And they might not be "sick"!

Young Boy from early 20th century, with dress and bangs and curls. See Chris Wagner's work on Historical Boy's Clothing site.
First, I don't believe this picture is a boy. Second, the original message to which I responded talked about boys in pigtails, bows, and ribbons. That just does not happen, at least in sane and healthy society. Sorry, nice try.
Do you mean that it happens a LITTLE or "that just does not happen", PERIOD? [a false generalization] Remember, like it or not, anything can happen!
For the last couple of hundred years, up until the beginning of this century, boys were dressed as their sisters were, until they had their first pair of trousers. This has been researched by Chris Wagner, who probably knows more about the history of boys' clothing than almost anyone else. His web site is:

Scroll down on the first page to Clothing Styles, and then scroll down to dresses and frocks, and click on. This might give you some perspective on the clothing and hair styles of young men in the last few centuries.
Don't be too skeptical. One of the presidents of the US (Roosevelt, I think) was dressed as a girl for much of his youth. It's mostly unheard of now, but that certainly wasn't always the case.
Not true. When I was in junior high I was in the pep squad and spent much of the school year wearing a ponytail with a white bow. The girls on the squad got a big kick out of doing my hair in various styles, including pigtails and braids. These days I stick to barrettes and headbands --altho my mother-in-law asked me a few weeks ago "Why don't you ever wear your hair back in a ribbon?"
Don't be so quick to judge.
Sounds like a wonderfull life if it is true... I'd love to get in touch w/u via email steve...
I wear pig tails but instead of ribbons, I use strips of leather
to tie them. Having thinish hair, it helps add some volumn. The
oddest look is with them tied above the ears.
I AGREE..........AGAIN.......until we see pics..........it is a FANTASY!!!!!!!!!
why do you need pictoral proof? perhaps you can find a fetish site to fulfill your visual needs. i personally don't think it's a wise idea to post kid's pix on the internet.
love the ideal e-mail me
