Hi,
I`ve lots and lots of grey or white hair (call it as you wish).
I think it`s pretty cool, of course I`ve been dying my hair often so most of the hairs which are white are at the ends, but they are catching up furiously.
I started having white hair at the age of 18, when I started to take calcium caseinate or if you want, protein powder. I took this protein supplement sometimes without training at all, so I guess that it`s the protein excess which can cause premature whitening.
I think it`s pretty cool and I`m still taking protein supplement to get all my hairs to become white.
Hmmmmm... proteirn supplements cause white hair? I never heard that one.
Anyway, besides genetics...there are other reasons why hair turns white. (Even if you want it to).
Maybe you should consult a doctor to make sure everything is a-okay?!
Good Luck!
haha. funny your talking about protein supplements for body builders. I just finished drinking a protein shake while cruising this board. *runs to mirror to look for white hairs* I don't know if an excess in protein causes white hair growth. As when i was younger i did drink alot of this stuff when weight training. Anyway, its probably just genetic, but very cool nonetheless. :) Let us know if your head gets any snowier!

heh, interesting decision and theory. My friend found a perfectly white hair on my head a couple of weeks ago. She was about as amazed as I was. It was a perfectly healthy hair that was completely bleached.
I think it's great so long as the hair stays healthy, but at 19 I'm not bothered about speeding up the process at all.
