My hair is naturally dark ask blonde and i tried to lightne it once and now i have lighter hair but it has alot of red and brassyness toit. does anybody know of a products that actually works like it says it does, i want to totally get rid of the red and stuff.

Hi Scott,
What you need is a toner. Often when people lighten their hair at home, they don't know their hair colour level, and don't realize what the outcome will be like, and therefore don't know which products will be needed for the desired effect.
If you have a brassy-red colouration to your hair you will need a toner to balance the colours. It's kind of like mixing blue and yellow to get green. You need the right counter-colour toner to blend with the colour your hair is now to get rid of the brassiness.
Go to your local beauty supply store, and ask them which toner you need to balance the colour. Most likely, if there is a lot of red in your hair, they will suggest an ash based toner.
