Washed my hair--now it's horrible!!

Is there anybody in this world who can explain this:?
Whenever I wash my hair or just rinse, it becomes stiff and very frizzy. It's horrible. After about a week of not washing my hair, it starts to become softer, more managable, and is less frizzy. It even looks clean! I just don't understand this.
When I get caught in a rain storm and my hair gets wet, it gets stiff and frizzy. I hate it. If there is anybody out there who has a remedy for this, please help!!! Mark ( MarkMark22@aol.com)

  MARK, YEP, sure can direct you, I used to have thaat problem somewhat and I think scalp oils are one answer.     I dunno, whenever I see a site that trademarks (tm) every other phrase in the site, and includes the choice of "Lunar Phase Cutting" in setting the time of an appointment, I go, hmmmmmm.

      Yeah, Mark, I think Randall's heart in in the right place, but he sends every longhair who asks for advice to there, and it's getting a bit tiring. It's gotten to the point he'd send one of us there if we reported hair that glows in the dark, and we all know damned well she doesn't have a potion to control that. ;-)
      I don't think Randall has ever posted much offering substantial information that does not mention that site, while most of us post on a variety of subjects and draw our information from a variety of sources. From that we can all draw our own conclusions....

        Bill, It's not my favorite web site, my favorite products because of what they do for me and no SLS in them either like American made hair care stuff. Afterall why not use the full time longhair expert rather than someones opinion or some ass hole chop shop operator. But if you like opinion and dabbling around OK. I want results, that requires doing something. I have great hair like a healthy 20 year old and I am 51.

        Hi, just my input. I used to go to this hair salon, and I agree that she is an amazing hair care expert.
        I haven't gone to her in a long time since I no longer live near there, although I'm sure she could have helped with my flakey scalp. (Btw, I tried Head and Shoulders with a vitamin E hair condtioner and that seems to stop the flakes for a long time.)
        I haven't tried any of her new products since she was just starting the line the last time I went for a cut so I can't vouch for the quality of products, but I will vouch for the quality of are and expertise she has.

  Well Mark, if you refuse free consultation from a full time professional longhair expert, then bubba you need more help than you will ever get from a yap group of non- professionals, opinions are like assholes, everybody has them and they stink!
