I think that all hair styles not matter what the length or style should be wearable by men and women alike. Who decides what is a feminine style and what is a mmasculine style? It is just hair. If a guy wants to have long hair and wear it in barrettes, or headbands, or pigtails what is wrong with that? At one time in U.S. history there was a destinct difference in hair lengths for men and women. Now millions of women have their hair cut in very short boy cuts so why cna't guys have longer feminine cuts? I have a bob that comes to just below my ears with bangs that reach my eyebrows. I plan on letting it grow into a longer bob. If that is feminine then so be it, but why should a guy be forced to wear a less flattering style just because it is long or some superior being deems that it is a girls style? I think that all styles should be appropriate for both sexes since many women seem to enjoy the boyish cuts for themselves.
And besides, who defines "masculine" and "feminine?"
I wear my hair feminine. I started with a bob, but went to the long full look. I wear my hair in a french twist with a butterfly clip, with some of my bangs hanging down. This breaks the barriers, I just wear it the way I like it. One day I just asked myself if I could wear my hair any way i wanted, How would I wear it? I realized it would be like a lot of ladies wear theirs. So I just do it. My boyfriend is more embarrassed of being seen with me because of my hair than to be seen with another guy. He is still in the bob phase. I can't wait till we both have hair like the ladies. Maybe in a few years or next century, it will be just looked at as beautiful hair not girly hair. Until then, I guess I will just wear my hair in a girly style.
I also have a short bob and I love it. I want to let it grow longer but I am not sure if I will do that just yet. I sure hope that people soon come to realize that it is just beautiful hair and not feminine. When that happens I will surely have a shoulder length bob.

I agree for the most part with your argument... that is that most long hairsyles today may be worn by a man or woman. I wear my hair collar length (I'm letting it get to about shoulder length) in a layered cut. It has a slight wave in it so very often it appears as if I had set it. Women in general like it and so far nobody has said anything negative about it.
While I think that most would agree with my earlier statement, I also think that most of the really fancy "updo" styles are still feminine and that the goal of a man that wants to wear his hair like a woman would be reached by wearing his hair this way. There is always the case where a woman likes a man to wear his hair in a certain way and if that's the case, wear it the way she likes it.
sex hair cuts , love to cut your hair
I am glad to hear that some girls like guys with long and even feminine hairstyles. I would love to have my hair done by a girl that wants a guy with girlish bob hairstyles. Location does matter though. Where are you?
