hi there im jonny im twelve years old my hair is fairly short now could you please give me a good estimate on how long it whould take from now for my hair two grow to my shoulders just an estimate.
thanks.
it normally grows about 1/2 an inch every month
hey jonny! Good question. Well, the straighter your hair is, the easier time you will have with it to reach your shoulders. If your hair is "pretty short now", I bet by the time your 14 years old, you will have it at your shoulders. I know it seems like a long way away, but its not. Hmmm..your 12. Thats grade 6 right?? Well, at the beginning of grade 8 you'll have awesome shoulder length hair. Good luck!! Come back if you have anymore questions.
Jonny, it doesnt take so long but you have to be patient at first, because for a time your hair wont cooperate and it will be a little uncomfortable. Anyway, as soon as you can pull it into a ponytail, youre set. For me this point is reached in precisely a year and a half. (My hair is fairly straight.) the longest Ive grown it is down to my waist. That takes me five full years to grow, but as I said, as soon as you achieve ponytail length, youre officially a longhair and its all downhill from there. Go for it; dont quit. Long hair is a lot of fun! Any further questions please feel free to write. I have worn my hair long for 10 years so Ive learned a few tricks. M454
yeah, you just really have to be able to take being made fun of, considering your in 6th grade, there are alot of jerk mean kids around you probly, so 7th grade you might be made fun of, but who cares? I think its awsome you wanna grow it out so early in life, I am really just starting to, im a 9th grader, and i really do wish i would have started in 6-7th grade, just think of it this way, when people really want to grow it out in high school, you will already be long and rocking out, My hair actually grows an inch a month (odd, i see alot of people that grow an inch a month yet the avrage is 1/2 inch, so if your lucky, your hair can grow to your shoulders about a year and half or a year and 3 months instead of 2 years, Just stick it out, you need anything, i.m me.
