Because of work ....and other things.......i can t have long hair....
I love to wear long wigs in public... and pass......as a sexy long haired dude.....
anyone in similar situation.....

I bought a long hair wig many years ago and after wearing it on
Holloween one year, my wife started to let me wear it around
the house and out sometimes. I would also wear some of her
earings. We had some great moments while playing. When we had
kids, she quit letting this go on.
But since then I have been able to grow out my hair. Around 12"
or so. I am the only guy in a corporate environment for a major
corp. who wears a pony tail. Although a couple contractors have
joined the workforce with long hair.
My husband is in the same situation. He tried to push it, but alas, he was given the dreaded ultimatium when it grew past his collar in the back, and covered his ears in the front. Bummer...
The best time to find wigs is around Holloween time. Go for the more expensive type since the $10 jobbies can't be washed, generally look thin, tacky and, well...like a cheep wig. Some larger cities have costume stores open year round. Off season (like now) that would be the first place I would check. Some ladies department stores will carry wigs, but they can be quite pricey and generally a special order. Another alternative is to cruise the web. There are many sites that sell wigs with a larger cap size for men. I have never actually purchased a wig off the web, but I assume it can be done easily. The wig my husband wears for me, came from a costume shop. I must say, it has been fun......the next best thing to being there. :-)
