Hi,
I'm trying to find my daughter's father, we lost contact
with each other, and now he lives in another state. I'll describe him, and if anyone has seen him, PLEASE,PLEASE e-mail me and let me know. First of all, his name is Robert Hainsworth, he's 38, he has hair halfway down his back, his hair color is light blondeish-brown, he has blue eyes, and he works as a roofer. He has a mustache, the same color as his hair. He has a tattoo of a Chinese dragon on his right shoulder. He stands about five foot six, is very slim and averagr built. He is often seen wearing his hair in a ponytail. He has a golden retriever named Gooch, which he takes with him where ever he goes. No one that knows him will tell me where he is at, all they told me is the possible states he can be in: Colorado,Iowa,Ohio,Florida,Texas,Kansas,Idaho, and California. If anyone lives in any of these states and has seen him please let me know, he is greatly loved and missed by his family.
Oh, so this is now a place to post wanted posters for longhairs? This dude obviously doesn't want to be found. Everybody, note she doesn't ask you to GIVE HIM HER ADDRESS so HE can write if HE WANTS TO.
This is a place longhaired men come for support. If people want to hunt down longhairs, let them do it elsewhere. It is offensive here because it violates the santity of this place. We can show our offense by refusing to help those who would turn our special place into a post office wall papered with longhairs.
If this is a truly a case of lost contact, then providing infromation might help bring a family back together. If the man is a scumbag who won't pay child support, then he deserves to be found.
And you're paranoid.
Besides, this whole post and replies are somewhat off topic.
It sure is!
While I do have to admit that Amber's request is a little off the subject of this board, I don't think its fair to go so far as to call it offensive. How is it offensive to you and how in the world does it 'violate the sanity of this place?' It has nothing to do with you unless you're the guy she's looking for. There are a number of posts on this board that get off the subject of hair and no one jumps all over these people. I don't know Amber's situation with her daughter's father and why he chooses not to stay in touch, but regardless of their relationship, he is still this child's father and therefore responsible for her and she has every right to search for him here if she wants to. Perhaps she is wanting this man to face up to his responsibility and therefore deserves to have a wanted poster put up wherever -- even a longhair board. I don't agree with her post, but that's not insinuating that she's wrong by doing it this way. Amber, good luck to you.
P.S. I find it ironic that you use the name, Wyatt Earp, a man who made his living as a bounty hunter and law enforcer.
Chill out, dude and continue to support the longhairs (even if they do owe back child support)

I so totaly agree! Looking for a certain person is not a crime. And besides, this is a site for mens' long hair. After all, she was looking for a MAN WITH LONG HAIR!!!
