Alright folks... the time has finally came. I finally got out and bought some of the loreal vive smooth intense Shamp and Conditioner. Today I just rinsed my hair with water rather than washing it so we'll see how that goes when I really do wash it tomorrow. Anyway, I had a few questions/comments for those of you who would know...
1) For all you VIVE users out there, how's it been holding up with the test of time? Still tha same great results? No buildup or anything yet?
2) I gotta admit, in this humid weather here it was gettin to be too much to deal with so I trimmed it down to about 3 inches. I know, I know, it's a sin, please dont hold it against me. The question is, should I start using vive now or wait until I hit the akward stage?
Well I am getting anxious to try this out! Depending on how well this works may make or break my ambition to be a long hair. We'll see how it goes, and thanks for the advice!
L'Oreal Vive is still doing good things in my little corner of the world. No build up. Just good silky hair that lays down nicely.
WOW!! Three inches lost! man, I would have a major panic attack if I did that myself. I have been really enjoying the growth I have been getting these last months. But your hair is yours to do what you may with and I won't judge you there.

And as for the cut, yes I know, I hate it, a lot of times I think about cutting it then as soon as I do I regret it and grow it again... Am I learning yet?
But anyway, it is really humid down here in the southern part of IL... the humidity will go away eventually but for now this is a comfortable cut. And my hair grows super fast! I don't know if I've ever mentioned it but my hair grows like an inch a month. I wonder if that will make anyone out there jealous?!

I don't see anything special about it. The first few washes I noticed a difference, but now after two weeks it is basically indistinguishable from Aussie Moist to me. However, I will be the first to claim that my results are hindered by hard water.
Start now...no better time than now. However, don't expect a miracle. From what I gather, Vive works best on straight/slightly wavy hair.
