G'day all, so I've been giving some thought lately to using a brush on my hair to help keep it down, any advice from the wonderful world of long hairs? Thanks mates!
Cheers,
Peter
Brush the ends first.
Anyone got anything else? I'm lookin' for as much info as possible!
Cheers!
Don't use a brush to detangle. Detangle with a wide-toothed comb first, then just use the brush to polish and smooth. And don't use a brush at all if your hair is curly or frizzy.

Whys that mate? What if our hair is a little bit wavy?
Brushing breaks up the curls/waves from sticking together, creating more volume, and the appearance of frizz. If your hair is just a little bit wavy, you can probably brush, but be sure to brush only when dry and completely tangle-free, to avoid stretching and breakage of the hair.
(sorry for the delay in answering, hurricane isabel had me offline for a while!)
You didn't mention what kind of hair you have. If it is thick and/or curly...
a brush is probably a bad idea.
L'Oreal MELTing Gel is super slick. When it is applied to damp hair and combed...
with a WIDE tooth comb you should get the effect you're after.
You can also touch up problem spots with L'Oreal Studio FX Liquid SPRAY Gelhttp://img.epinions.com/images/opti/d4/87/L_Oreal_Studio_FX_Liquid_Gel-resized200.jpg>
Good Luck!
My hair happens to be thick and wavy... whats the problem?
