I've been lurking on the board for a little more than a year but have never posted. The comments and suggestions that I have read from the other users as been crucial in getting through the first stages of letting my hair grow. My hair is now 9 inches in length and can be put into a decent pony tail. As the school year started I held my head up and showed off the new tail to my students and fellow teachers. After nearly a month of doing so, I have not had a single complaint about my hair but have had a few complements. Good luck to everyone and keep it growing!
Body language is a powerful thing. If you look proud, people will respond in kind. Others, if they're smart, won't respond at all.
Congratulations! Keep it up!
Congratulations...and thanks for taking the time to post here
about your success.
Also, thanx for your kind comments about this Board.
Good Luck!
Cool Dude!!! :) Keep it LOOOOONG!!!
I mean really.........how could one not compliment when you finally arrive, your hair is clean and really looks nice? So glad you made it and didn't give-up! Alas, so many still dislike the thought of a "Longhair." But back in the late 60's-all of the 70's TONS of guys that had Long Hair wore it so filthy! (It was dirty (as were they) and naturally a disguisting sight to behold.) I think this has been remembered by the general public. The "New Image" of "Longhairs" I believe are going to make those visions of olde vanish in the next few years. Keep it Growin!
