Right, I'm wanting to start working on a Halloween costume, and my hair's a part of it. Basically, I want to get it looking like the picture. How do I make it look like that? Like I just got out of the shower? It looks like he and I have the same hair type. His is just a little longer. Anyway, I can't get my hair like that, 'cause it just curls up really bad, and then when I comb out the curls, it's just poofy. The only time it looks like the picture is when I get out of the shower. So anyone know of any special sort of products I can use to keep it looking wet and weighed down? I'm thinking maybe some kind of oil or something. Anyone know the best way to go about this? Much appreciated.
Two words: styling mousse.
Agreed. Try it out beforehand (natch) and maybe a bit of oil too, for longevity sake. (I didn't know the Crow was still popular??)
Oh, yes. Very much so. Just do a Google search for "The Crow". You'd be surprised by how many results it comes back with. Hell, *I* still love the character. James O'Barr created a very memorable character, and a beautifully tragic mythos, that will live on in the hearts and minds of goths all over the world, for as long as time will permit.
Ahem.... The Crow kicks ass, pure and simple. What da hell you thinkin' 'bout, woman?
(wink wink)
Right, thanks. Hadn't even thought of that. I was thinking about all sorts of different, exotic products I could use, totally blocking out one of the most simple choices. Thanks for reeling me back in.
hahaha, the crow! awsome choice of costume. just go to the stylist with pictures of brandon lee and say "make me look like him" ;)
It seems like that statement of yours might not hold up. Otherwise you wouldn't have a problem getting it to look like the guy in the pic (is that Brandon Lee or the guy from the sequal?).
Length can make a difference. If you have curlier hair it's the extra hair that'll weigh itself down instead of curling up. You can't comb out curls because combing your hair while it's dry or using a close toothed brush while wet will seperate the hairs, making you look like a poodle. Just this one time you could blow dry your hair and use gel or mousse. Just make sure you use stay in condtioner before you blow dry.
It's Brandon. I meant more along the lines of the same hair type, but he looks like he has product in it, to keep it weighed down. If I had to guess, I'd say mine's a little more curly, but I think I can pull it off.
wash your hair, possibly put in a gel that says "wet look" or something like that, comb it out, shake your head and let it go. Leave it dry the way it is and don't touch it.
Excellent pic! I may have to save that. I absolutely LOVE(d) Brandon Lee!!! One excellent male specimen!
Hehehe
