Well, I haven't done a poll in a while, so I figured I'd post one. A while ago I posted a similar poll and I wanted to see where everyone's at today.
So, how long is your hair? (8 inches, mid-back, etc.)
I'll start: 8 inches
Mid-back; a couple inches below shoulderblades.

mines about 14 inches, though i'm in need of a trim :)
this month is my 2nd year mark :D
Mine is about 4 inches after a couple months of growing
... my bangs are roughly 8 3/4 inch long, though my hair is various lengths throughout. Hey Brian... not trying to fool ya' there, bud! Peace!
The longest strands are about 11 inches, though for some odd reason my bangs are lagging behind by a few inches.
shortest ones are around 8in....longest are nearly 11in
i've actually made it my personal goal to not touch a ruler until New Year's Day....measuring too often makes one go mad

12 inch in front, 15 in the back.
measured at combed out hairs.
Shortest: 17 inches
Longest: 21 inches
This is measuring, of course, from the scalp to tip. Basically elbow-length.
Mid-back. Well, maybe I can *finally* say its almost lower-back and be truthful, LOL.
A little longer than a foot. Yeah, I still have a way to go ...

Mine varies because of what I started it (that AWFUL HAIRCUT I NEVER should have fallen for) with. So................shortest is about 8" and longest at 9-1/4+ inches.
bangs: where the bottom teeth hit the gumline
back: 4th vertebrae down
Less than 1". Just cut from about 16" though.
In case anyone's curious:
The hair in front (bangs I guess you'd call them, but they're really not) is about an 1 1/2 inches below my shoulders. The rest is lower mid back.

...far, it seems as though must of us here are between 8-15 inches (which puts my in the "norm" now...finally!) Glad to see everyone going strong! Too bad we don't have the ability to upload pictures to the site or I'd take a 'picture poll' and ask everyone to post a current picture. :)
I think it's around 8 1/2 inches now. Maybe more.
15 inches,, bottom of my shoulder blades
When my hair is not curled it is just below shoulder blades in back and slightly layered on the sides and my bangs to the bridge of my nose.

Well I sacrificed a single hair and got out the tape measure...
20 inches! *surprised*

Just past waist, planning to get a trim to waist. I have to trim up so I:
1. cut off the split, damaged, dyed ends
2. get the front even with the back
I'm going to be at waist length for a while. Probably the next year.
Now, the natural hair color (which is what I'm now measuring) is at 6"

As an observer, I'd like to commend the growers of such a variety of lengths. The diversity here, in many ways, has such beauty.
