Hey all :)
I recently discovered that melting gel is not available here in the UK - My hair is wavy ( ie - it's mainly straight, but the back and sides like to curl about a bit..my hair is unruly ;) ) - and I have been searching for an alternative. I was recently pointed to the Garnier "Fructis Style Moulding Jelly!" (Pic Below) The only problem is, for such a small tub, it's very expensive. So, before shelling out, has anyone actually used it?
If so, is it actually any good?
And if not, can anyone recommend anything similar?
Cheers
I haven't tried it...but the words: Fibre Gum, Micro waxes & Strong...
all make me wonder if it wouldn't be a bit too stiff!
isn;t moulding putty for short hair styles though?? *shrugs* In Canada, that particular Fructis product is dirt cheap, too bad i couldn't send you a case. haha. How long is your hair btw?? wouldn't you need a lot of putty to control your hair though???
My hair isn't too long right now. It's about 1 or 2 inches (I'm the odd one out around here ;)) - but seeing as it's wavy, it doesn't actually look or feel that long. So, I'm just looking at alternatives now..See, I always used to use the "wet look" stuff - which turns your hair rock solid, and lasts about an hour. Needless to say, I'm not using it anymore :) but I need something with a half-decent hold and something stylable..my hair goes insane when it grows a little longer than it is now, and it's extremely hard to keep under control.
Anyway, I'm not sure whether putty is for short hair or not.. at the minute, it doesn't really matter. I'm just looking for something that I can use once my hair starts getting awkward on me. (Which is pretty soon)
Cheers!
