So today I finally got up the courage to ask a girl the question "May I try your shampoo and conditioner?" This is a girl who lives down the hall from me and has mid-back, thick, wavy hair that is very healthy appearing. She uses Physique Deep Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. I've seen it sitting on her dresser several times, but never asked about it until now. From the research I did, this stuff costs about three times as much as any shampoo/conditioner I have ever used. I figured that it would be an experience...for better or worse...
So I set off. Upon lathering up the shampoo, I noticed that it was very slippery and lathered up instantly. The smell was intense and that of a hair salon. Not really the best that I've smelled. It washed out very well and my hair felt quite slick. I then used the conditioner, which also lathered up quite well. I noticed that my wet hair was falling further onto my shoulders, hopefully signifying that it was softening up my ringlets in the back.
I let it air dry completely without applying any styling products. My hair does feel softer. Not in a silky way, but in an overall lightness. It is also nice and thick...about the same amount of volume I get with aussie real volume only this isn't physique's volume pair! The smell would probably take some getting used to as it does smell quite femanine.
Overall, I give these products an 8 out of 10. I wouldn't automatically advice anyone to try it due to the steep price, but if you can get your hands on a "test" I'd highly advise it.
I have tried it. It is good . A bit expensive.
For me, the results were not great enough to surpass Aussie or ViVE.
Thanks for your report!
cool report. when my hair is actually long, ill definitely keep Physique products in my mind. But my hair is still too short too really make any difference. :) Cool report! Anyone else try anything new. I was gonna pick up some TRESemme, but i think the ingrediants are a little harsh. Can someone take a look at both the cond/sham and let me know what they think??
I have found that for my (curly) hair, it's pretty hard to go wrong with any of the products from Physique or Pantene that make up their curly hair ranges.
Forget about the product, that'a a GREAT opening line (in the right situation)!
