Jason,
We have an awesome rock club here in NJ called The Birch Hill that
books many Hard rock/Metal bands which are generally national acts.In fact just saw Joan Jett perform this past saturday night and like usual the place was packed and had lots of long hairs in attendance. This club is definately a great place to go for music and lots of hair.Anyone in the area should check it out as its the only real draw for longhairs in the area.
we've got a couple nice metal bars in Col. Ohio... Alrosa Vila, Newport, and Jammers West to name a few. I was thinking: After my band split up and I didnt have much contact with the metal scene and the long hairs, I cut my hair. Im thinking if I didnt stop frequenting these places I never would have cut my hair! DOH!
Ever since I started going to see metal bands at rock clubs in the 80's I was hooked and have been going to see bands ever since.Possibly explains why I have waist length hair at 36 as most people I knew who had long hair had cut it years ago.Too bad.I cannot see myself ever cutting my hair anytime in the forseeable future as I just love it!
My hair is just now gettig past my waist. Personally, I'm looking forward to the day when mine starts turning silver/grey and I've got still all of this length! hehehe
Someone at work once asked me if/when I'm going to stop growing it. I told them I wasn't quite sure, but figure I'll at least consider stopping once it gets to the point where I start accidently sitting on it.
;)
Actually I would enjoy having my hair long enough that I might sit on it.However I do have a way to go before I get to that point though. In my opinion the longer the hair the better so keep it growing!
