I have just completed indexing the message archive. I will add a link to the the main board to point to the search tool at a quiet time. Meanwhile, I provide the link here. It is available immediately. I will refresh the index every time I move messages to the archive.
I added a feature to the index. Now, in the hit list, an icon appears if the original message contained an image. Of course if the file to which the URL pointed no longer exists, it will show up as a broken link. However, I thought it would be nice to have an indicator of which messages have images. To see the feature in action, enter Samson as your search item.
At first I had the script display the actual image, but I decided that was too much of a bandwidth waste. Let me know if you disagree.
