As you can see below, and also can see on the main page of my hair growth site, my brother Mike gave up on his hair growth.
So now I am solo on the project, and believe me, I will be there as long as it takes to grow my hair to my mid-back to waist length goal. Thought I would update every one on this new developement. Expect a new site look on this months coming pic date. Peace!
Honestly, didn't surprise me.
Keep it up, Treyn.
Wasn't he having doubts before??? Oh well, too bad. Guess your a lone wolf again. Good luck! (Not that you need it, your doing so well...)
I had a sneaking suspicion this would happen. His heart never seemed
to be in it.
And,of course, to be able to jump through all the hoops of fire in the Awkward Phases...
you just HAVE to have your Heart&Soul in it ...all the way!
Well he may have given up on growing his hair but I strongly sugjest that you don't do the same even though I'm sure that you won't because you seem very into having it long and it looks really kickass!
I think you have better quality hair than he does but it was very interesting to observe your growth together. I wish he had continued but his heart would have had to be in it.
I'm not really sure if he had even heard of the two week rule. He doesn't have a computer, so he rarely ever read this board when he was over here at my house. He brought cutting his hair to my attention just a few nights ago. So it didn't surprise when he walked up earlier with a buzzed head. His hair is somewhat thicker and wavier than mine and he said he was tired of hair in his eyes and hair sticking out everywhere, that growing his hair long didn't really mean that much to him like it does for me. Bottom line... his hair, his decision. So now you guys can look forward to tracking my hair along with ONLY me because I have run out of relatives to join along in my hair growth project. Peace!
to each man his own.
You don't need anyone else to reach your goal. You want it. Can't wait to see you in a year!
Sorry to hear about that. I've started to grow my hair out a few times. Each time the same thing happened. It would start to get longer and then I would have to deal with the wavy hair. I'm NOT a morning person and like to get ready as quickly as possible. Longer hair isn't conducive to this. I would get tired of it and off it came. Patience isn't one of my virtues. I'm trying again, though.
In any case, keep up the good work and don't give up.

...as long as they're happy! Glad your sticking it through. BTW, your hair's comin' along great! I swear it looks like your hair grows 2 inches every time I see it! :)
That's too bad that he decided to give up. Maybe ask your wife to join (even though she would have a head start).
Don't worry, you're not really alone as long as you've got the hyperboard for support ! :o)
Cheers,
Rob.
Think your brother may be very sorry in the near future........but who knows? Long Hair isn't for everyone.
But........it IS for the guys on this Hyperboard, so in many ways you are not alone with this "Longhair Gang" of supporters. Your hair goal is the same as mine. Waist length if possible. And, I DO believe you will make it. Will Treyn cut his hair? No way that I can see. Guess your son must have given-up also? All the best-
Too bad but but it serves as an excellent example of how difficult it is to grow long hair, even with a lot of support. I belive it takes something calling from deep inside a guy to make him want to become a long hair.
Maybe you should try with them again- but next time insist on everyone putting $ in a kitty with the longest grower reaping the bounty!
Meantime, you could get a large studio portrait done of yourself to give as presents to your relatives with the caption the "[Your surname] Family MANE Man!"
