All,
The latter is my preferred link, so it dons on me that most of you may simply not know about it.
The way it works is just like the one most people are using except that when you click a message link, the message is displayed in a separate window.
What I like to do is open the main board this way and when a message is clicked, then resize both windows to fit neatly on the screen. Then you can scroll quickly through the messages by clicking on the links in turn, rather than paging back and forth to the main board.
If you haven't tried it before, give it a whirl. You might like it.
Note, though, that when you post a reply to the message, it won't appear in the listing until you refresh.
In IE, the link color doesn't change in the main board window when you follow links in the message window until you refresh. The Opera browser (my favorite), however, updates the colors of links in all windows containing the link just navigated.
You mean there is a way to view it in a seperate window?
If there is i've never been able to do it.
I give up.....I tried the seperate window link....it doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong? (IE version 5.00.2919.6307)
Tried both routes, same results either way. No seperate windows.
Did you follow the link in my message?
Did not know! Must try this...
This makes the board so much easier to navigate! Thank you!
