Well, my hair's still quite clean, it looks the best it's ever looked, it doesn't itch any unusual amount, and it don't stink!
Of course, there are several factors which may be helping my hair, like living in the midwest, and being careful not to get stuff in my hair. Additionally, I never really shamooed that often, I never used much shampoo, and I never used conditioner or styling products. Thus, my hair is probably used to the way I'm treating it now.
Fact is, I think this was one of my better ideas!
My mom's the only one who don't like what I'm doing--everyone else thinks it's pretty good. Finally, I think that what I'm doing is helping me to express myself much better.
Just wanted to tell you all.
Good day,
Jesse
cool. i like what you're doing. And frankly, Im inclined to try it myself, but my hair is out of control, and i need a bit of gel to tie it back with, too keep it all together. Though i think what your doing is awesome, it won't become feasible for me for another 4 months or so. haha, i always buckle and use gel. I may be getting a job where i won't have to worry about hair or looks at all. So that may get me to start. Keep us posted. I think this is a great experiment!
Jesse,
Doing something you feel good about is such a wonderful thing. I am glad it is working well for you and I hope it continues that way.

I decided I'd try it after your post. I did wash/condition my hair 4 days ago. I'm noticing some flakes today, and my hair feels a bit more oily than usual toward the head. I figure I'll sit here and brush it for an hour tonight to disburse the oils throughout my hair a bit better.
