Ian Gillan, for those who don't know, is the lead singer for Deep Purple (famous for "Smoke onthe Water", ect). He also did one somewhat oddball (but kinda cool) album with Black Sabbath in 1983 called "Born Again".
Here is a pic of Ian Gillan circa 1972. I have met him and all the members of Deep Purple (you can find my story on their site linked below). So I can tell you from personal experience that his hair is great.
