I had shoulder length hair a few years back, and have decided to go back to it after a few years of buzz cuts. Its ealy days now, as I just decided at christmas - so i am just at the permanent "bad hair day" stage at the moment.
My question - I have quite coarse/thick black hair. When I had it long, it never really looked good out of a ponytail. The effect I used to be remineded of was a horses tail - not pretty !
I've heard you can get your hair thinned or made finer - so that
individual hairs are finer, therefore in my case it would look a lot better.
Anyone know anything about this ? What I vaguely remember hearing about before was a mechanical method of getting this done and not
chemical.
