When I first started law school, I only saw one guy with long hair. Two years later, I'm now seeing about 5. Addtionally, there are a few here with a "semi-long" style. Just thought I'd share. I say, the more longhairs in the legal community, the more advocates we might have for the rights of men to have long hair in the work environment. Hopefully these guys won't end up cutting their hair when it's time to look for a job.
Hey man, read John Grisham's The Steet Lawyer. The main character becomes a long haired lawyer. Good read, too. Generally, lawyers with longer hair seem to be less threatening and more welcoming in the eys of clients. There's something disarming about the "lawyerly look" at times. Of course, if you're going into corporate law, chuck the long hair or you won't eat. Otherwise, it's nice to hear you're holding on to what you've grown. Josh
Most of them do. They all tell you that you`ll have to cut your hair when you`ll be a lawyer. Not me !
