I just measured my hair for the first time in a while and found it was a few millimetres short of 8 inches long (20 cm) after 14 months...nice progress you may be thinking, until I tell you that it's STILL only just hanging below my lips...I know I'm a big bloke anyhow, but sheesh! It's going to take three years to get down to my shoulders at this rate! I had no idea I had such a massive head...
...I know exactly what you mean. In fact, I was going to post almost exactly what you just said because I feel the same way! In fact, I just told my wife last night that I feel like my hair isn't even growing anymore! I've been growing for about 17 months and I have about 8 inches of growth too. I can't even get my hair into a half-tail yet! Maybe we should close our eyes, take a deep breath and count to 10! haha!
This week is my two year anniversary/birthday. Despite the length perception-inhibiting curl, my hair is making me happier and happier on a consistent basis. Keep being patient; it's worth it.
Good to hear that Dan and yes, good things do come to those that wait :)
I feel you my friend... I am at the same stage exactly... I am almost at 15 months... but sheesh it's taking it' sweet ol' time... I tried to grab into a pony tail today after being worried about an interview I have... didn't stay... but I like the mane and I will stick to it..
You are not alone!
