Hi everyone! Ive been growing my hair for about 8 months now. And im hopeing to get it long enough to tie back. Anyway a couple of days ago my worst nightmare came true. Well i was sitting in spanish class and all of the sudden i feel something hit my head. Im like wtf. I raise my hand and attempt to get it out. But something was wrong. It juss spread. At that point i relized that gum was in my hair, and i just made it worse!!!!!!! In the middle of class i said : o shit" at that point i ran out of the classroom not even telling any1 ine and went right to the school nurse. I was soooo scared. I dont want to sound like a pussy but if no one was around i would have been crying. I walk in the nurses office and all i hear is "o my". "Are u gonna cut it". Im like hell no. I was so scared. I didnt know what to do. Finally the nurse remeberd that peanut butter gets it out. So i got some and about after 20 mins of swishing p.b. thru my hair ir was out. I was and still am soooo happy for peanut butter. hahahah
Who did that to you? You're going to let them get away with that? You shouldn't be laughing about that! Someone stepped out of their boundries and you should administer a butt-kicking after some BS like that!

So let's say this young man takes your advice and punches the person who threw gum in his hair, then that person fights back and causes more damage to the young man. What was achieved?
Im sure people will no longer put gum in his hair once he shows that he's not willing to put up with that! Im not saying that he should neccisarly punch the guy, but I don't think that walking off and "hehe"ing about it is the right answer either! All im saying is that people should stick up for themselves! Confront the guy right there, ask him what his problem is make it clear that you're not one to be messed with like that!
This person, if confronted:
Gets the crap beat out of him:
Sues.
Then, you have to explain why, as a reasonable person, you want your hair long, got pissed because someone put gum in it, proove it's the person who put the gum in your hair who received the butt kicking, and why you lost your temper.
After all, it was "just hair" and "just gum."
this could get the long hair in a lot of trouble. I would avoid...unless I was drunk. LOL At that point, I would regret the mess and time it would cost me later.

It's not a question of letting someone walk all over me, it is a question of using words rather than resorting to the stupidity of using violence in retaliation.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how far it is from yours.
