  Thanks for the replies to my original post. One of the reasons that I posted was to begin a dialogue of encouragement to move through the growing process with. I have had starts and stops in attempting to grow my hair before.

  The longest I have ever gone without a haircut has been 9 months. That was quite an adventure but it was worth it. Stan and I are using the end of April as just a goal, I hope to go much longer, maybe a year.

  One of my struggles with growing my hair is that it is so thick. Attempting to control it is a pain. I will be seeking the board's input as I enter these stages.

  Thanks and look forward to letting it grow.
