Just got through reading the posts on Jason down below, sorry to see he got his haircut, as I thought he had awesome hair. As to the rumors of having worn a wig, I think not. This is Jay on a gameshow I taped a couple of years ago (I think it was on VH1), I find it hard to believe he could be wearing a wig?

Actually, it wasnt a wig, if you got o viewaskew webiste, - Kevin smith and company's site, it saus he had to cut it because he had to go into rehab for drugs,and was forced to do it by the rehab place. Which sounds prety stupid to me, never heard of long hair making you a drug addict, but anyway, wanted to clear that up.
Having been in the music industry and knowing many musicians, I can tell you that MANY of them have worn wigs.
If you haven't seen it, check out the movie "Still Cr4azy". This movie imitates the life of my band so closely it seems as if one of us wrote it. Anyway, in one part of the movie, you see the former lead singer of the band remove his long hair...it's a wig.
That's what many of the 80s guys had...almost no hair but a great wig.
I can't speak for this guy you mentioned, but you wouldn't believe how many "hair bands" had musicians that had almost no real hair.
Oh...and no...I won't name names!
How many here, would have the balls to wear hair like that??

It's interesting that you bring that up. Don't you think that true hair freedom means not only growing your hair as long as you want, but also in styling it any way you want? But, of course you're right. A style like that sure would take guts. It shouldn't have to, but it does.
Yes I agree - completely thats true freedom.
What's more I think it looks excellent, he certainly doesn't look feminine and thats the big concern people have about styling like that.
I dunno maybe one day when I have the length I'll give that a try...
true true, like that he kinda looks like a white snoop dogg, but the thing is, I dont know if he does stuff like that cuz he has guts, or maybe he just plain doesnt care and its his girlfriend whose responsible for his hairstyles. cuz from what I heard he was pretty much high 24/7 and in those situations you can go out naked and not notice or care about the stares you get. Oh well just my 2 cents.
Personally, I think that Jason really doesn't care what ANYONE thinks of him. Notice how he also has his nails painted purple. Wearing your hair in braided pigtails and painting your nails purple would defiantly require some balls in a society like this.
Actually it was the drugs, if you read the veiw askew website kevin talks about how jay really does care what people think about him now that hes clean, hell hes even dressing differently. oh well it was cool while it lasted though.
With hair like that, I say, how could you NOT?!?
