With the dawn of spring I've started thinking of summer...
And remember how, just as the strands of hair approached
ponytailabilty (Is that a word?) I went MAD and practically
buzzed my head last July. Yeah, stupid move on my part I know,
but hey I think I learned my lesson. Of course, it's gonna be
back to the same length soon and I just hope it doesn't drive me
crazy again... Ah well, I'm not cutting it, even if I am looking
for a new job.
What a pity you did that ! Just as your hair was starting to go
"ponytailable" you gave it a cut ! Now you have to start all over again ,having ( I guess so)the same frustrations again soon.
I went to the same thing , - allthough I must say - I'm going
trough the same thing at this moment , but my awkward phase is
nearly ended ,as all strands have reached , and 90% has crossed
my ponytail. I just have to deal with those 2 famous strands
one on the left and one on the right , which have to go all the way
to the back , but this is just a matter of a few months. So this summer , I gonna be out of the awkward phase and going to celebrate
a little on it.
I hope that all your frustration will be more tolerable as you made
it through one time , and that you may soon be "ponytailed" spotted
on the beach or wherever ! Meantime : keep it growing !!!!!

I did the same thing last year. I work out at lunchtime and afterwards, my wavy hair just goes berserk due to sweat and humidity. I don't have the luxury of being able to use a hairdryer to style it again afterwards. It was like really outta hand, so I cut it short. I've gone about 10 months now with only a trim around the sides once in January. It's down past my collar now and the wife's always bugging me to cut it. Hopefully I'll find a way to deal with it better after I work out so I won't be forced to cut it again. Not quite comfortable with going ponytail yet. Want it to be longer for that. Any ideas how I can get some control over this mop with only air-drying?
