Hello long haired ones,
I am intending to grow my hair until it reaches about shoulder length.
Trouble is, I usually get fed up with it long before it gets there.
The reason why is because it is so thick..... I mean really thick.
I am in danger of looking like a 1980s "Dynasty" star and I don't mean the men either.
I am talking BIG HAIR here.
However,it is reasonably straight and could look good if only I can work out what do do with it for the best.
Any advice?
Should I have it thinned out or leave it growing?
Thanks.
Mr M. Hair
Well, if it is normally the cause of you having it cut and starting over, I'd have it thinned.
I truly wish I had your problem! LOL I'd love to have a head of thick, long hair!
Only have trims if the ends get dry and/or frizzy, and have patience. As it gets longer it'll get more barable. I used to freak out about my hair when it was going through the bad stage, but I just grinned and bared it after a while, and now look!

Hay there M. I have about the same problem only my hair is wild and spiked naturaly, its about shoulder langth or a little longer. And I know what its like for people especialy balding men to go and tell you that you should be thankful for such wonderfully thick hair. I tried having my hair professionaly thined. If you dont have naturaly spikey hair then it would work great. With me all it did was make the wildness worse and I ended up looking like a japanese anime character. Yu-gi-oh give you an example. And whatever you do dont shave your head. I did that whoo let me tell you you cant sleep on a porcupine... Take care man, and good luck.
Hey, i got the same problem but im a girl and i dont know how to deal with it, i was just wonderin when u get your hair thinned is it the same as your hair bein layered or is it different? plz answer thankyou
