Advice please.
I have shoulder length hair, all one length, which I have been growing for some time now, but most of the time I have kept it tied back into a pony tail. I feel like going for a much more distrinctive cut now which will allow me to wear it loose all the time. I want something that is unisex and the Rachel haircut from Friends has been suggsted to me. Can a guy get away with wearing this style and what is involved in maintenance. Also can you vary the style at all once its cut.
I am also thinking of getting the Anniston cut on the recommendation of my stylist. Could anybody, male/female who has had the cut tell me if it is easy to maintain and what the reaction to it is like.
Also, as my hair is very thick and straight my stylist has suggested that I should have a root perm done before the cut to add volume - is this necessary
Well, I've had mine done and had nothing but positive feedback from day one. No problem with upkeep so far, but it 'is' different when you are used to all-one-length. Aside from that, no styling problems. It's been several months and I am due for a maintenance trim, though. I contemplated cutting it, but have decided to stay with this style for awhile, at least thru summer.
