I don't know if any of you watch headbangers ball on mtv2 but its pretty kick ass! Most of the bands have long hair which is awesome, plus its my favorite genre of music (metal). Any of you guys watch it too? What do you think about it?
I watch it to exept most of the videos they play are crap,Headbangers Ball is suppossed to be a Metal show but they mostly plau Nu-Metal,out of like 20 videos they play 4 or 5 good ones.I still watch it for those 4 or 5 though lol.The host is really annoying to,the old headbangers ball was alot better imo.

not sure what you define as 'real' metal but i keep a mix i throw into the cd changer for workout music... children of bodom, dimmu borgir, pantera, iced earth, iron maiden, black label society, slayer... gets the juices flowing- great adrenalin rush.
They played one real metal video in the entire two hours (Slayer). Any show that tries to pass off Korn, new Metallica, Static-x, and the like off as real metal is a failure.
I saw it a few times - don't really spend alot of time in front of the TV.
You ever get into "Hard Rock" which it was originally called from the 60's - 70's with bands like Jimi Hendrix, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple.....Alice Cooper.... I grew up with that stuff. I like the new Metal bands too... Metallica is a big favorite..
