I was wondering if sherri is the only woman that writes here and if this is pretty much 'just for men'?
I'm one, even though I don't post all that often.
I'm also here, you just have no idea how much I love long hair on men, thats why I read this board.
Its Certainly a better place with the ladies posting... I'd hate to think this was an all guys clique...
I'm here too :)
Wasn't sure if you liked us girls around here or not.
I like looking at the pics too, and reading some of the posts.
I think the female opinion is one of the most valued on the board. Afterall, very few of us have any long term experience with styling or caring for long hair whilst most women posting here have 25+ years!
Its also nice to know that we're interesting enough to attract outsiders, makes us feel slightly less geeky...
I'm in an odd position. At the age of 14, after being totally sick of having totally unmanageable, "frizzy mess, stuck in the lightsocket" hair, I whacked it all off, and wore my hair nearly as short as the typical men's "short hair uniform" for 30 years. At the age of 44, I decided I was sick of this, and started to let it grow. Now, at 45, I'm still growing it and will until it's not quite mid back length. Interestingly enough, it's growing in as merely wavy, and not as that godawful frizzy mess that I had as a child.
So, I've gone through most of my life with short hair, and having no more idea about how to style or care for long hair than the average man does. I'm learning about hair care right along with the men here, and I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts.
Excellent :-) We can all screw up together!!!! ;-)
I also like to look at the pics and your hair grwo process. I was first surprised that this board exciste and that men care so much about their hair. I try to post more now and give my opinion. I'm here because I adore long hair on men but not in "real life" yet :-(
