Hi as you all know that I am a sikh and my hair length is 66 inches, I would tell you that it is very true that girls really like long haired men. And from my experiece I can tell you that when ever I am not at work or I am at home its only for my wife I have to keep my hair loose falling on my back.In night its only for her I have to keep my hair loose because she takes my whole length in her hand and sleeps. And I have found that taking care of my hair has become her regular routine in her daily life.She used to detangle,brush my hair in the night before going to bed she do different hairstyle with my hair.(Most of the time my hair is loose falling on my back or in a bun). She applies hairoil in my hair and massage in my scalp gently washes my hair twice a week with shampoo and applies conditioner. In a simple word she does every thing that is required to maintain long hair. But she also have a very long hair nearly of my length and some times I also do the same thing to her hair.
In your community it is probably a sign of status to some degree.
Where I live it is not viewed that way unless you mainly move in a sub-culture group.
Short hair is the social standard for men and even for many women. Some women like long hair on guys and some don't.
As a side note, having really long hair myself I find that many women who claim to like long hair on men often prefer it to a certain long length that is from the shoulders to about mid back (mainly as a visual thing).
Speaking of which, I've actually had women scoff at me over the fact that my hair was longer than their's - mainly out of mock jealously - then comment on how nice mine looks and much they wish they had the patience to grow their's as long, if not longer.

Funny, as that happens to me all the time, as well.
A lot of older women like long hair on guys..i'm talking about those from their mid 30's to mid-late 40's. I'm constantly getting vibes from the older ones.

Unfortunately that is :-( and I don't understand why there must be a difference that men have to have short hair and women can wear it like they want. I am that kind of woman who just LOVES long hair on men!! So keep your hair grwoing :-))

Are you saying that they DO like hair longer than mid back or DON'T like it longer than mid back? I wasn't quite clear from the sentence quoted above.
Yes, they often like it long but prefer it "not TOO long" on men.
Well, I've seen lots of too short...but NEVER too long.
I have found that one of the best side benifits of having long hair is the interest from women. In fact, the longer my hair gets, the more smiles and "hello"s I get from women of all ages.
Mr. Singh, I find it interesting that you say here your wife holds your loose hair at night while earlier it was written that no pillow is needed for your hair in a bun serves that purpose while sleeping. I also note you appear to share the same email address as the poster "sanjay arora" who appears to be soliciting the same photo requests as you have made. Hmmmmm.

Indian girls just like guys either with the Bollywood look.
The girls who like long haired men are pearls to me.
And the black pearl: girls who like long hair on guys and have long hair themselves.
