new thread
Hi all, I never thought I'd put pics of myself up, but because of my positive responses that I got last time, I figured I'd put some new ones up. I just took these this morning. I seriously considered cutting it before I made my last post, but this is the longest I've ever had it in my life, I don't think it looks to bad. If you remember my last post, I talked about how I was worried that my hairline was receeding and how it looks thin in the front, the way that I took these pics were I took them kinda from the side where I think it looks thin, does it look noticeable from my pics? I was thinking that parting my hair and wearing it like this might contribute to that, but I'm not sure yet. I take horrible pics, so I hope these aren't to bad. I think your hair looks great. I don't really see any thinning/receding problem. But, if you are concerned, see your doctor and get a prescription for Propecia, or even better, Avodart if you can get it. These are wonder drugs in the prevention of hair loss.
It looks really good man, keep it up n don't get discouraged by anything.
Chris, the pics are great. How long is your hair now? How many months growth are you showing in those new pics? Is your hair pretty fine? It looks like mine: fine, wavy / curly unless I blowdry it straight. I ask this because you're hair, longer than mine by a couple inches, looks to be the same type as mine. The process of growing one's hair long is also a mental journey. You learn to reach new goals and pass through difficult stages. One could just try to keep it short as the status quo prompts but you will find that changes happen anyway so one may as well be growing their hair long and face the changes head-on.
The hairline thing is probably a bit of an illusion due to the different way that the hair in front of your head now lies as it gets longer than it has been before.
Don't cut it, it looks good man!
