Hi guys - I want to go blond all or part - not decided. What is the best way to do this my self? thanks for the help- my hair is just over the ears and collar.
How to do this yourself? DON'T!
To go blond, you will need to bleach your hair, which can, and does damage your hair. If you want to continue to grow your hair long, (and I assume, posting on this board, you do), you will want to keep it in the best condition possible.
Also, home bleach jobs usually look like home bleach jobs, and often look worse.
If you want to go blond, do it, but be smart and have it done at the salon by professionals who know what they're doing. I, myself, have blond streaks added to my hair, (a lot of blond around the front, and less toward the back), and I think it looks great, and it is in good condition.
