hey, wuddup...Ive been growing my hair for almost a year, but my back hair only about 6 months..becuz i decided to get a tape up in my 5 month of hair growth, which i now regret...anyways my question is about braidz. I braided ma hair once and im planning on braiding it for a now to keep it a neater...but i wanna knoe,do braids weaken hair in way? will it affect my hair growth?
..by the way i have type thick wavy hair almost shoulder length
i dont understnad the entirety of your message, but as for your question, yes, braids can damage your scalp if they are too tight at the base of the hair. it causes premature hairline thining, and "patches" of baldness. so keep 'em nice and loose, if ya can. :)
At the risk of sounding un-cool, what is a tape up?
I wanted to ask the same thing...the english language is certainly in decline!
