has anyone noticed how the shaggy cut has come back around? i see a HUGE number of guys wearing that look now, and i must say i am grateful that the whole buzzhead look seems to have taken a back seat.
with shaggy somewhat "in" can longer looks be too far away?
mjtoo
yeah the shaggy look is definitely in at my school, but a decent number of guys are getting it cut before it gets longer than like 5 inches (where my hair is)
Yeah i notice that too its really begining to look like the long hair phase isnt that far away. Im sure the long hair phase is coming back again.
yeah man. the shaggy look is in for the wavy hair kids at my school. I have straight hair and i cant really do a shag. it just naturally parts down the middle at a certain length. i have just reached past my eyebrows..i'm happy ^_^
It is just only my guess, but there are just too many "Shaggys" around the area in which I live. My guess? They are in the "Awkward Stage" and headed for Long Hair. The Pendelum (styles) ALWAYS swings the other way.
That's not really my guess. I would say that the shaggy look is in. That's OK, though. It's better than short hair being in.
I have about 10 freinds who used to have buzz cuts and are now growing their hair out, they all want to grow it past shoulder length too. I've also noticed a HUGE number of people with that shaggy hair cut at my school, but they rarely let it get past their eyebrows. Theres about 5 or 10 true long hairs at my school of about 400 or so, but I'm seeing more all the time.
.. is that the recent trend towards longer hair has something to do with the LOTR movies and their influence on world culture recently. I think a large percentage of them won't make it through the bad stages and many who do will cut it off when long hair is suddenly out again. Still, a percentage will stick with it through and through, and hopefully those who don't will at least think before shouting "get a haircut" at someone down the road. =)

Long hair IS in and has been for several years now. Pick up GQ magazine or look at runway models for a clue. If you are a die-hard long hair you will only care about clothing and not a particular 'cut'
