A guy that I've seen around for years just cut off his long hair. I don't really know him much to speak to, but I was really tempted to ask him why. He works for a family firm where just about all the people who work there have the same last name. I would have thought that he was under less pressure than most, but he did it anyway. Nobody fires their son/brother/nephew for the length of his hair, although they might harass him way beyond the way they would treat a regular employee. His wife has always had really short hair, though. Maybe it's her influence? They've been married a few years, so I don't know if that could be it, either. I can't understand it. Someone told me he had his hair long for more than 20 years.
You know, peoploe said similar things when I grew my hair out after having short hair for 40 years. People change. WE all do, all the time.
I don't see this as "us" losing one. Just more evidence that we are all changing.
Robert
Chances are he probably just got bored with it, like a lot of people do with long hair (not me though).
On a possitive vibe, I saw at least 20 long haired guys in Lincoln City yesterday. I can't remember the exact number that I counted, but it was at least 20.
