Well, the trim I mentioned last week (was it last week?) didn't happen. I washed my hair and asked my mom to trim it. She had left her hair scissors at my great-aunt's the last time she did her hair. I saw it as a sign, and that was that. I don't see split ends at the bottom anyhow, and really hate losing length.
I've become a blow dryer junkie again. I bought a blow dryer with hot, warm and cool settings. I've been using the warm. I'd rather have my hair dry in 10 minutes, opposed to the normal 8 hours. I'm tired of frozen hair.
Well, back to studying for the test I have tonight. I'll update the pics pages sometime after Wednesday.
I hope this finds everyone well, and everyone's hair long!
I must be fortunate. My hair, which is at shoulder length air dries in under an hour.

For some reason, blow drying the hair while combing it at the same time makes the hair feel better and smooth, and you can actually get a certain hair style you want. thats base on my personal experience, i havent been blow drying for 2 months now.
I must have a really hot head (no pun intended) like ColdFlu also because my hair air dries really quick as well. I have learned that most of the bodies heat exits the head. I have never used a hair dryer since growing my hair. In fact, the last time I used a hair dryer was probably 14 or so years ago. I found out back then with shorter layered hairstyles that I used to wear that hair dryers only puffed up my really thick hair making it impossible to work with. That was the reason I never thought I could ever grow all my hair long back then. Don't know what got into me to change my mind, but I found out totally different. My hair grows long just fine with how thick it is. In fact, I find myself extremely lucky to have the thickness of hair that I do have. I used to think it was a curse, but now I am very happy with it. Peace!
Many years ago, I used a blow dryer in the wintertime. At 5 feet away, it was safe for the hair (I used to prop the dryer up on a stand).
Now I use the Holmes heater below - still at a distance of 5 feet. This unit is quite safe as the air coming out is not hot.

it is not tangled. If I detangle, comb, and brush it before I shower, then run my fingers through it afterwards while it's still wet, it dries within 2 hours rather than 5 or 6.
