I recently decided to let my hair grow out, but it's that mid-stage length that I can't stand. THe length that you can't really do anything with besides let it grow out. So, I wanted to know if anyone knew of any good products out there that will speed-up the growth of my hair. Has anyone tried anything that actually gives results? Thanks.
...all the main ones, and I can't say that anything works...on my HAIR, that is. I've tried: Biotin, GNC's Men's UltraNourish Hair and Hair, Skin and Nails. Hair, Skin and Nails DID work, but only on my NAILS, which grew literally, I'd say, 3-5x their normal growth rate.
The only other thing I noticed was that my hair seemed to grow faster when I had the flu last month for a few weeks. Then it dawned on me...it was probably a misconception since I was bed-ridden and not able to look in the mirror a few times a day like I normally did, thereby giving the illusion that it grew faster!
I'd recommend 2, maybe 3, things: eat right, take a multi-vitamin and mineral pill daily and most importantly, a good strong dose of PATIENCE. Sad, but true...
I've been using Viviscal. I had 10 inches of growth last year (not including trims every 12 weeks).
