All,
Please take a moment to reread the FAQ (it is very small) and get a feel for the purpose of this site. I just did a pile of cleanup, and it is clear that I will need to be supervising much more closely in the near term. I just deleted many messages. The criteria used were this:
* Any messages part of a thread in which the most recent message was posted before 4/1/99.
* Any message in which the author's nickname was a message.
* Any message in which the subject long was a paragraph.
* A thread composed primarily of hostility. Note that this board is not opposed to the discussion of all subject matter relating to long hair. However, it must be conducted in a non-hostile manner. Telling members of this board to cut their hair or insinuating they are somehow inferior by not is grounds for removal.
I trust that future postings will be in line with the purpose of this forum.
This forum is a good place for advice, sharing of experiences and for making friends as well. Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to gather here, and also for your patience!
Very nice expression of how most of us feel. But is it Victor or Matt who's the webmaster?
the webmaster is victor
Aye Victor,
Thanks for this forum.
I've always greatly admired long hair on men, which some of my longhaired friends find a bit weird. In fact one of my longhaired Canadian friends told me that I was sick and that my use of the word "longhair" to refer to a long haired man was insulting as it turned him into an "object."
You site has assured me that there are many men and women out there who like longhair on men.
Furthermore, it also is a wonderful place to seek advice, discuss common problems longhairs face, share tips and perhaps to make friends.
BTW. From your bio, I see you are a Canadian from Beautiful British Columbia.
I lived in Vancouver for two years and made many longhaired friends and at that time, Vancouver seemed to be a longhair capital of Western Canada, if not the the Pacific North West, though I understand the hairological ratio has declined since then.
Regards
Charles
