What is a flat iron? What does it do? Why might one use a flat iron? If I use one, will it damage my (straight) hair? How often should one be used? And so on and so forth...
Fire away, folks.
If they are what I'm thinking they are, they're more commonly referred to as "straightening" irons. They're designed to do exactly what they sound like they're designed to do: straighten one's hair.
(suddenly chuckling at the mere thought of someone confusing a flat iron with an iron used on clothing, and using it on their hair)
hehehe

You know, Nyghtfall, that might actually work if you can get past the major head pain from third to first degree burns! LOL!
*Please, do not try this at home or anywhere else for that matter*
Um.... OOOOWWW!!!!
It frightens me to know that there are people in the world whom that disclaimer would actually benefit.
well, peopl euse them on frizzy, wavey hair or curly hair to straighten it. they can be damaging if u use the wrong ones in the wrong way and sinc eu have straight hair there is no reason for u to need one:)
