I just wanna know who else out there seems to shed hair alot. I shed alot of hair it seems, i guess thats just the way i am. i always seem to be dropping hairs. i dont shed alot when i rinse my hair everyday in the shower, but when i do my once a week shampooing and rub my scalp alot to get it nice and clean, you should see how much hair comes out. im talking big globs of hair. some times its scary, but im not going bald so i guess im ok.
Everyone sheds. It only becomes more noticeable as hair grows longer.
I seem to loose alot of hair and was worried for quite a while before stumbling upon this board. My hair is approaching the two year mark and it seems to come out the most when i brush it.
That's because you're forcing lose hair out that would only otherwise normally fall out. My brush's bristles(sp?) are literally entwined with a nice, thick handful of hair by the time I'm done brushing my hair. Only a few strands come out when I rake through it with my fingers though.
You're fine.
Well thats a relief thanks man.
because my hair is to thick i dont worry about it
I've had the same questions in the past because I experience the same thing. Sometimes the amount that comes out while shampooing and conditioning can be scary, but it is the natural way of things. Since you and I, as well as many others, shampoo only once a week, all the hair that comes out could possibly be a lot of the hair that came loose during the week but never fell from the head. Then when we shampoo, which consist of a little more coaxing at the scalp than just rinsing our hair, all that hair comes off the head due to that friction. I would figure that if we shampooed every day, the amount of hair we would see coming out would probably be significantly lower. Hope this helps! Peace!
When I shampoo and condition, I lose gobs and gobs of hair. You would think I would be bald by now. But, this has been going on for years and It doesn't seem to be affecting me at all.
